By entering, you often have to agree to privacy policies and possibly receive marketing or promotional emails. That’s typical; just read the fine print.

💌 A Note from The Scholarship Bag
You now have everything you need to win 💸 — but information alone won’t pay for college. Action will.
Remember, scholarships are first-come, first-served and judged by deadlines. The earlier you start, the better your chances. Spend just 10–15 minutes a day on these opportunities, and you’ll thank yourself when those acceptance and award letters start coming in.
You are not alone — Scholarship Success Squad, Lanham Christian School Class of 2026 Community, and Our Family Legacy Scholars group are here to help you stay accountable, share wins, and answer questions along the way.
🧭 Step-by-Step: How to Apply for Scholarships
Here’s your game plan to go from reading this list to actually submitting applications:
Step 1: Pick Your Scholarships
Choose 3–5 scholarships from this list to focus on this week.
Prioritize those with upcoming deadlines (start with September ones first).
Step 2: Gather Your Materials
Download or copy your Scholarship Tracker from the Scholarship Bag Community, Our Family Legacy Scholars group, or the Class of 2026 Google Drive folder.
Collect your resume, transcripts, and recommendation letters (or request them early).
Prepare a scholarship essay template you can reuse (found in the Scholarship Bag Resources section).
Step 3: Write & Edit
Use the Scholarship Essay Writing Guide in the community to draft responses.
Post your essay draft in one of the groups for feedback, or share with a peer for quick edits.
Revise and polish until it’s clear, compelling, and error-free.
Step 4: Submit Before the Deadline
Apply online directly through the links provided in this email.
Save confirmation emails/screenshots to your Scholarship Tracker.
Step 5: Celebrate & Repeat
Share your “I Applied!” post in the community — it keeps you motivated and inspires others in the group to apply too.
Pick the next round of scholarships and keep going until your list is done.
🔥 Pro Tip: Treat scholarship applications like practice for college admissions — the more you apply, the better you get. Aim to submit at least 1 scholarship per week this semester.
